Lunch on a sunny winter’s day. Two starters – really nice yellow pea and vegetable soup followed by duck and vegetable spring rolls with a chilli sauce. Not much duck – they were OK but not great. However, my wife had excellent smoked haggis balls that I tasted. (for readers of a squeamish nature, these were not the testicles of a local freshly shot haggis but rather haggis shaped into balls).
