Tony’s table is a relatively new venture by the owner of Oloroso where he is competing with The Dogs on Hanover Street to offer cheapish high quality food. It’s slightly out of the way in North Castle Street and wasn’t busy when we went there for a Saturday lunch in January. I wasn’t too hungry so had 2 starters – blue cheese panna cotta, parma ham and celeriac and black pudding fritters with chilli jam. The blue cheese panna cotta was exceptionally good, esp. with the excellent home baked bread. The black pudding fritters were fine but the chilli jam lacked punch.
Visited 30th January 2010. About £12 each for food+a soft drink.
