Nargile is a Turkish/Mediterranean restaurant with branches in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. We started with mezze (hot and cold) which is excellent – the highlight of the meal. The others had kebabs of one kind or another (lots of meat) but I tried the Rendezvous Special which was torn up pitta, lamb and garlic with a buttery/spicy sauce. It was good but we have eaten so much mezze that it was difficult to finish. Wine list was uninspring and the house wine (white and red) was pretty ordinary. We’d definitely go back but may well skip the wine next time.
