Our nearest local restaurant. The food is usually always good – I have only had one bad meal here. The tables are small but service is friendly and the place has a good atmosphere. Saturday evening meal where I started with scallops and black pudding (more BP than scallops), followed by very nicely cooked venison steak with sweet potato. there were 4 of use, everyone enjoyed their meal. The house wine is (relatively) cheap, reliable (George Duboeuf) and quite drinkable. About £25/each.
