We went to Cafe 52 in Aberdeen at the last minute after Scotland’s sad defeat by Italy. Good ambiance and service and excellent food. My starter was a kipper fishcake with garlic mayonnaise followed by duck confit with beef and black pudding sausage in a barley broth. Anne had smoked salmon to start followed by what looked like very nice cabbage stuffed with cous-cous in a beetroot sauce. We will be back. About £30 a head, including everything.
